Qualifications
Publicly-Owned Treatment Works (POTWs) are charged with protecting the POTW, receiving water, sludge, and worker health and safety from impacts due to discharges from industrial, commercial and government facilities.  The POTW legal authority and industrial user permit are the primary mechanisms to control these discharges.  Pretreatment programs are complex and require efficient resource management to deal with program issues.
